Allegra dreams of joining the Eleven O’Clock musical theater company and starring in 'Freaky Friday', the same play that made her grandmother a star years ago. Her grandmother, Cocó, is a living legend of the musical theater world but shares a complicated relationship with her daughter, Caterina—Allegra’s mother.
Allegra’s life changes forever when she discovers a mysterious bracelet at home that transports her back to 1994, the year Caterina was her age and starting out at Eleven O’Clock while living in the shadow of Cocó, then at the height of her career. By uncovering her mother’s and grandmother’s pasts, Allegra will not only help heal old wounds and bring the family together, but she will also discover that while the past cannot be changed, there is much to be learned from it.
